Installation – Opencart Coupon at Checkout

Steps to Install the Module

Go to Opencart’s Admin panel -> Extension -> Installer

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel and click on ‘Extensions’ to see the drop-down list.
2. Then click on ‘Installer’ from the drop-down list
3. After clicking on ‘Installer’, you see a file upload icon on the top right of the page, as shown below. (After uploading, you need to save your file in your system with a name that ends with ‘.ocmod.zip’)
4. You will see an entry with your file name on your screen. Then click on the green button to install the module.

Permission – Opencart Coupon at Checkout

Now, we need to give permission for the module to the Administrators of the store.

Opencart’s Admin panel-> System-> User -> User Groups -> Edit Administrator

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel and click on ‘System’ to see the drop-down list.
2. Then click on ‘Users’
3. When you click on ‘Users’, you see a drop-down list. Then click on ‘User Groups.’
4. Edit Administrator to allow permission to user

5. Set access and modify permission for all related modules.

Configuration – Opencart Coupon at Checkout

Opencart’s Admin panel-> Extensions-> Extensions-> Choose The Extension Type -> Modules-> Plugin Installation-> Edit->Status->Save

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel and click on ‘Extensions’ to see the drop-down list.
2. Again click on ‘Extensions’ from the drop-down list.
3. Choose your extension type.

4. Click on the green button and install the module.

5. Then click on the ‘Edit’ button and set the status to ‘Enabled’.

So, here we complete the module installation, permission, and configuration part.

Frontend Side

1. First, you need to go to the ‘Checkout Page’ where you find the coupon options.

2. Click on the ‘Choose’ button to find the list of available coupons with complete descriptions as shown below.

3. From the list, you can choose any coupon that you want by clicking on the ‘Apply’ Apart from this, if you have any external coupon, you can enter the coupon code in the input box and enjoy discounts.

(You will see the deduction in your total payable amount after applying the coupon.)

A Few Steps for Removing Coupon

1. First, you need to go to the ‘Checkout Page’ where you find the coupon options.
2. Click on the ‘Choose’ button to see the list of available coupons.
3. You can choose any other coupon from the list or simply remove the coupon by clicking on the ‘Remove’ button as shown below.

Note: (In order to remove the coupon code, the input box must be active.)
