Steps to Install the Module

Go to Opencart’s Admin panel -> Extension -> Installer

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel and click on ‘Extensions’ to see the drop-down list.
2. Then click on ‘Installer’ from the drop-down list.
3. After clicking on ‘Installer’, you will see a file upload icon on the top right of the page, as shown below. (After uploading, you need to save your file in your system with a name that ends with ‘.ocmod.zip’).
4. You will see an entry with the module name on your screen. Then click on the green button to install the module.

Permission: Opencart Product Mass Upload

Now, we need to give permission for the module to the Administrators of the store.

Opencart’s Admin panel-> System-> User -> User Groups -> Edit Administrator

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel and click on ‘System’ to see the drop-down list.
2. Then click on ‘Users’
3. When you click on ‘Users’, you will see a drop-down list. Then click on ‘User Groups.’
4. Edit Administrator to allow permission to the user.
5. Set access and modify permission for all related modules.

Configuration: Opencart Product Mass Upload

Opencart’s Admin panel-> Extensions-> Extensions-> Choose The Extension Type -> Modules->Iml product mass upload

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel and click on ‘Extensions’ to see the drop-down list.
2. Again click on ‘Extensions’ from the drop-down list.
3. Choose your extension type.
4. Click on the green button and install the module.
5. Click the edit button set the status to ‘Enable’ and save.

So, here we complete the module installation, permission, and configuration part.

Admin Workflow

Once the admin sets the configurations for Opencart Product Mass Upload in the admin panel, the Mass Upload tab is visible as a dashboard icon in the admin panel.

By clicking on the create button, the upload page will open shown in the image below

Then click on the file upload button to upload the data file. All the options fields will auto-map if the user enters the correct data headers in the uploaded file. If the data header is incorrect they do not map and the admin needs to select that field manually.

For images, there is an upload field at the bottom. The image should be in a zip.

All the uploaded files will display with their names and upload dates as shown below image.
