This guide will show you how to install, configure, and customize the Up-sell and Cross-sell modules to boost your store’s sales and improve customer experience.

Installation: Opencart Up-sell and Cross-sell

Steps to Install the Module

Go to Opencart’s Admin panel >> Extension >> Installer

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel.
2. Click on ‘Extensions’ to see the drop-down list, then click on ‘Installer.’
3. After clicking on ‘Installer,’ you will see a file upload icon on the top right of the page, as shown below. (Before uploading, you need to save your file in your system with a name that ends with ‘.ocmod.zip’)
4. You will see an entry with the module name on your screen. Click on the green button to install the module.

Permission: Opencart Up-sell and Cross-sell

Now, grant the store administrators permission to edit the module.

Opencart’s Admin panel >> System >> User >> User Groups >> Edit Administrator

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel.
2. Click on ‘System’ to see the drop-down list, then click on ‘Users.’
3. In the ‘Users’ section, click on ‘User Groups.’
4. Edit Administrator will allow permission for the user.

5. Set access and modify permission for all related modules.

Configuration: Opencart Up-sell and Cross-sell

Opencart’s Admin panel >> Extensions >> Extensions >> Choose The Extension Type >> Modules >> IML Store Locator >> install and edit

1. Go to Opencart’s Admin Panel and click on ‘Extensions’ to see the drop-down list.
2. Again, click on ‘Extensions’ from the drop-down list.
3. Choose your extension type.

4. Click on the green button and install the module.

5. Then click on the ‘Edit’ button.
6. Select the Axis for layout and set the status to ‘Enabled.’

Set Layout: Opencart Up-sell and Cross-sell

Opencart’s Admin panel >> Design >> Layout >> Product >> Edit

NOTE: Module layout must be set on the product page.

Choose the position for the module you want to set. After clicking on the edit button, you will see a list of multiple modules. Select the IML upsell/cross-sell module and save.

• The admin will see an option(Upsell/Cross-sell) in the menu.
• The admin can create multiple sell offers by clicking the create (+) button.

Name: Display the title of the offer.

Primary product: Wisited products.

Recommend Product: This is for adding related products to Increase the cart value.

Status: This is used to set the selling status.
